Dambit

Small software for
field work
and daily records

Dambit is a one-person software studio in Korea, built with Claude and no developers.
We make work tools born from real needs, and apps for reading and keeping records.

How we work with Claude

People decide,
Claude helps build

The founder decides what is needed
and how it should work.
The code is written and fixed with Claude,
and now Claude works inside the products too.

Building

A non-developer founder builds with AI,
and Claude Code is the tool used most.

  • Web apps (Vercel)
  • Website (Cloudflare)
  • Installable Windows app
  • Notion and phone data sync
In the product

Yeokkeum uses the Claude API to turn
job photos and notes into readable posts.

  • Claude Sonnet 5.5
  • Automatic image resizing
  • Usage logged for every post
Next

Field businesses spend hours on paperwork.
We want Claude to take that work on.

  • Estimate suggestions from 900+ past jobs
  • Automatic photo captions
  • Report drafts for insurance claims

How we make things

Build small, use it, fix it

  1. Write down the friction

    Note what keeps
    getting in the way.

  2. Build right away

    Get to something usable,
    together with AI.

  3. Use it ourselves

Use it on real jobs and in daily life
    to find where it breaks.

  4. Fix and ship again

    Fix, redeploy, and repeat.

Only what is needed

Build the features people use
and remove the ones they do not.

Hide data first

Customer addresses, prices and health data
are hidden before anything is shown.

Write it as it is

Only numbers we have checked
go on this page.

Timeline

From a failed try to a studio

  1. The first try failed

Six hours trying to build an app with AI ended with the usage limit and nothing working.

  2. Starting again from one small need

Built After Reading to keep notes on books, then Chaekrok and Salpim.

  3. The first tool for real work

Built the job-record app for Nusoolab and grew it into estimates and reports.

  4. Claude API inside the product

Yeokkeum wrote its first blog draft with Claude.

  5. nusoolab.com launched

A website and company email for the leak-repair business the tools serve.

  6. Dambit begins

dambit.dev opened to bring the tools together.

The maker

Yunseul

I did not study development.
In February 2025 I gave up after six hours of trying to build an app with AI.

The reason to start again was simple.
I wanted to keep notes on the books I read,
and hoped what I made could help the people around me.

That small start now runs the job records,
estimates and reports of a leak-repair company.

Hold what you need,
and let it shine.Dambit (담빛) means "holding light."

FAQ

Questions

How do you build without developers?

Design, coding, bug fixes and deployment all happen in conversation with AI, mostly Claude Code.
The founder decides what is needed and finds what to fix by using the tools.

Can other companies use the work tools?

For now they are used only at Nusoolab. If they become ready for others, we will say so here.

Is customer data safe?

Work apps require sign-in, and the screens on this site are blurred captures.

Where do you use Claude?

Claude Code is our main tool for building apps, and Yeokkeum uses the Claude API to write blog drafts.
